I love all things natural; birds, fish, flowers, bugs, dirt, you name it! I love to create things with paint, paper and fabric, and I am delighted to be able to add surface fabric design to my list of joys.

Here is Demeter, the goddess of the harvest, back in true Tea Towel form! Demeter presides over all agriculture, but generally she is shown carrying wheat or other grains.
A Fat Quarter will make one tea towel. If you buy a yard of the Linen/cotton canvas fabric, you will have enough to make 4 tea towels, which would make fabulous gifts!
If you buy a Fat Quarter in the Linen/Cotton Canvas blend (27" x 18") you will get the entire design. If you chose to order any of the first 3 cotton choices in a Fat Quarter size (21 x 18"), the bottom of the design will be cut off as shown in your preview window.

Thank you very much, Jill! I guess my friends and family know what they are getting for Christmas this year!

The tea towel looks beautiful!
Nice colors, printed on Kona Cotton for my trial run.

Here is Demeter, goddess of the harvest, back in a Tea Towel format! She looks great (sideways) as gift wrap, as well.
Thank you, Cal! I really love the idea of a wallpaper border. That inspired me to mess around with a palm leaf design to go with this - of course it will need a whole lot of lovely, nubby texture going on in the background!

Lovely! I can also imagine it as a wallpaper border, particularly if there were a coordinate design for the main wall. I like the rhythm of the palm leaves along the bottom.
Thank you so much, Isabella! I think that I am going to make one more attempt to get her "proper" dress pattern uploaded, if that is allowable for a contest entry.
So beautifully illustrated! I love the detail in the wheat and the pretty green of her dress.
Thank you kindly, Rhonda! I hope she looks like the kind of goddess from whom you would accept a loaf of bread!
Demeter looks quite beguiling in your charming border stripe design, Lisa!
Thank you very much, Ottoman! The original illustration has her wearing a dress covered with leaves and twisting vines, and I am disappointed that I could not get that to upload properly. Oh well, at least I got something into the contest this week!
