Even downcast and with writhing hair, your Medusa is beautiful, and her serpents are elegantly choreographed! Looks great in swatch and yardage views, too.
Gorgeous and dramatic! Love the story.
(my fav :o)
Thank you for the lovely comments, I really appreciate it!
Love the balance!
As soon as I saw this in the Greek Mythology Contest, I thought this fabric would look great as knee pad material (for my sister who does roller derby). So, I open this page, and low and behold, you created a roller derby fabric!
Just beautiful Julie...
Yet another really fab design, Julie!
This is a really beautiful design!
Great design Julie!
Gorgeous, but with an appropriately melancholy flavour. Great work, Julie.
Thanks so much Victoria, Paula, Sylvie, Cindi, Rhonda, Tina, Siya and Jillian. Yes the flowers are pomegranate blossoms, I wanted to use a floral motif that was from the Mediterranean.
They are gorgeous!
Very lovely! Medusa's story was always sad to me.
Are those pomegranate blossoms?
So much beautiful detail, I love these illustrations!
This is a marvelous interpretation of the classic tale of Medusa! I like how the writhing snake hair seems to have a very active life of it's own!
Pretty amazing design! She's gorgeous and you can't take your eyes off her. Good thing she's not looking at us hey! :^D ~ Sylvie
