Hey Vo...wow, this is so delicate...goodo you!!!!!!
Posted over 3 years ago.
Thank you Winterblossom!
I love the curvaceous shapes of the women. Has a gentle sensuality about it. Lovely.
Thanks so much Amy!
This is beautiful, Vo!
Thanks so much Annlie!
Whoa fantastic drawings!! amazing
Lisa, I'm so glad you like it. Once the contest is over I might offer up options on color. :-)
So graceful and elegant - what a wonderful illustration, and the repeat is really pleasing to the eye! I agree with all of the "tablecloth" remarks, and I would love to see it with a cream or muslin - colored background.
Thanks Angela, I so appreciate your nice comment!
I find toiles the most beautiful of fabrics, yet hardest to create. You have done a wonderful job with this- just stunning!
I thought I'd just add it again. Hopefully it will stay unbroken!

A Toile: Dionysus :
Jillian, thanks! I so love drawing/painting folds of fabric. Odd I know but there it is!
That's so weird because I used Firefox while I was not logged in and was able to get the large new window with the image in it. Did you click on the image in the design box once it loads and looks like a blank page? I'm not really worried about it for the contest I don't think the general voter goes to design pages to check things out more closely.
I tried again - and as Jillian suggested - but it does not work for me at all (using Firefox as browser). I've had this happen - only with contest entries - and have ended up reloading the detail. So frustrating.
It opens in another page for me, after I click the thumb and then the broken image- as well
Lovely illustrations Vo, Love all those intricate toga wrinkles!
It's so weird because the thumbnail was working yesterday but today it's broken. If I click on the broken image in the image box the image loads in another page. Someone want to test this for me? Su, thanks for the comment too!
I especially like the vine leaves - but the details thumbnail appears to be broken - at least not working for me?? I agree with Victoria - it would be wonderful as a tablecloth - just makes me think of feasts!
Thanks so much AmyG, Rhonda, Ottomanbrim, Victoria, Siya and Cean! I love that there are so many toiles in a non-toile contest!
Spectacular, Vo! Love the swag-like repeat and your illustrations are beautiful!
This would be fab as a tablecloth border. Are you going to do a color version?
This is an impressive illustration, Vo! You appear to have caught the divine Dionysus in the act of encouraging his followers to enjoy a bit of decadent gluttony and revelry !
Wow, such beautiful and intricate artwork!
Fantastic line-work in your illustrations, Vo. So beautifully drawn.
Thanks Victoria, I wish I'd started on a toile earlier so I could have had many scene in it.
Oh! I love your detailed toile! This is a perfect contest for a Toile, I think. Great work, as always, Vo!!
:-) Thanks Julie!
Fantastic illustrations Vo!
Thanks Sharon, Alex and Virginie...can you tell I was a little obsessive last week? A million, kajillion lines. hahahaha.
