Thank you! I'm really pleased you like it!
I just can't say how cute an idea it is to have plaid frogs!

Tartan frogs by the yard!
Thank you Eleanor, I'm so pleased this is hit!
Love this collection of your frogs and plaids. Bold and unusual.
Thank you Angela, I'm very pleased that you like them!
Lovely intricate pattern of frogs!
Wow! So it's true - great minds do think alike!
A couple of weeks ago I very nearly scooped some of my own frogs out of the pond and into a box for photographing this same idea! :-D
Thank you for crossing your fingers Lisa - I'm very pleased you like my dapper frogs - yes, that would be nice!
Moira ~ your dapper little frogs are garnering so many great comments, I am thinking you might make the top ten with this great design! I will keep my fingers crossed for you!
Wow! I'm bowled over by how popular these critters are! Thank you Sigrid and Linda for you lovely comments!
Oeh, this gives a wonderful pattern. Beautiful.
Love the lines of your stylized frogs. They are beautiful forms.
I'm glad you think so - Thank you Ottomanbrim!
Thank you Paula, I'm so pleased you like them both!
Fab frogs! Love your lino print too!
Thank you for the lovely comments Magenta Rose and Rhonda. I love the idea of them doing a Reel - maybe over crossed, little plastic, cocktail swords - in their tight fitting tartan trews Very Funny!
Lovely pattern and colours, it's very cheery :) and bright! I love it reversed as well. I can just hear the frogs having a chuckle too and doing some heavy breathing as they dance ;)
These gossiping frogs look as though they are taking up the formation of a traditional Scottish folk dance! The idea of frogs wearing plaid and dancing a reel has made me chuckle!
Thank you Julie - Och Aye - they do!
Lovely frogs, they look great in plaid!
Thank you Andrea and Kelly - I'm very pleased you like them!
beautiful frogs and a gorgeous pattern! I love the plaid and the cool shapes that the frogs make in repeat.
Oooh. I like these hidden frogs. Looks just like an abstract plaid until you look closer. Well done!
Strange but so true - i hadn't thought of doing that!
There are quite a few more where they came from too.
The original colors would make a fine fabric design, too, with that fresh green on the speckled ground ... I see a collection on the way!
This lino print is marvelous, Moira! That bright green is perfect, and the print is so crisp. So fun to see the origins and/or inspirations for people's work! (had to correct typo/re-post/sorry about being out of order!)
I'm glad you like it - and for the giving me the idea of loading the image up here!
The original lino print frogs!
Su_g, I forgot to say the charming silhouette was straight from a lino print, 'Four Friendly Frogs', which I did several years ago. Makes me wonder if I should resurrect some others!
Oh! Wind in the willows waistcoats... how cute!
I'm putting my vote behind these diagonally plaid frogs. I like the way the shades of the plaid form circles and crosses in the yardage view. And I like the way the shading of the plaid plumps the frogs up in the swatch view, almost as though they were characters in Wind in the Willows, wearing little plaid waistcoats.
All three versions are now live in the 'Bonny Prints charming' collection - along with my other tartans. Just fiddling with the scale for the competition - not too small but not too big either... always tricky!
A passing thought - Ha ha ha - squashed frogs!
The plaid on the frogs is a brilliant idea, Moira! I love how the frog elements combine to look like slightly flattened circles when using FQ and Yard views. I will be happy to vote on the orientation of the plaid when you post the other design, but this one is pretty sweet!
Thank you Su!
Still wondering if the plaid should be on the cross or not... just done another version and umming about which is best! I'll upload it so all can see... all feedback is gratefully received!
Neat!! Plaid frogs - and a charming silhouette!
