Thank you for such a wonderful comment, Rhonda! And Vanillabean reading all of your amazing comments has made me smile so much - thank you! I had a lot more I wanted to do for this pattern and actually had to rush it to get it in, but sometimes that's the best motivation.
I like the way you focused so completely on the seashells and sand, you might have been the only one who did that, and it makes your design stand out! The repeat is nicely done, too. I would use this as fabric for a beach bag!
I can imagine tiny mermaids playing with these dainty shell sail-boats! It is a lovely, imaginative interpretation of the contest theme!
