Thanks, Pamela! Originally the apple tree was supposed to be part of another design, but I forgot to add it until after I'd uploaded, and then found the sketch after the Apple Challenge began.
The painterly patching was an experiment in changing the brush settings in Photoshop Elements, setting it to scatter. You learn something new every day. :^)

Ha! I really had to look at this one to see the tree was made out of the word itself. Very clever design! I really like the way you did the ground in painterly patches.
