One quarter gives you one game board with ample squares. One yard gives you four! Add your own rules, use anything for markers.
The plus and minus signs can be used for moving forward and back one space. The other symbols could be bonus points, or jump to another spot, or pick up a card.
Hang these on the wall with velcro and a wood slat, or ribbon looped over a dowel. Fold it up in a lunchbox or bookbag...stick a decal onto a small table. Use a dice, spinner, or numbered cards for moving forward.
When I was growing up, we had puzzle posters plastered to the ceiling of our powder room. Guests often came out remarking, "I solved it!"
