This is a great pattern. i can imagine using this; and I love the feather textures. Very funny too.

LOL, it was a hoot to make! Sometimes you've just got to throw caution to the wind~
Black and white and red all over? Your interpretation of the theme is hilarious, and the feather pattern itself is quite beautiful.
I had to have fun with this one as it was so wide open yet, I thought the entries would be fairly narrow in scope. I threw caution to the wind and just went with slighly obscure unless you took a minute to really look at it. I so appreciate that you all took that minute to look!
Very funny take on the theme. I think this was my favorite all time spoonflower contest theme. I remember the chicken pox. My two brothers and I all got them at Christmas which meant we were quarentined for all the celebrations with other family members. I remember it being a fun christmas anyway.
Funny and love the chicken feather texture!
Chic chicks would be thrilled to wear fashion garments made from this eye-popping design! I like how the flickering glimpses of the fine-feathered speckled background are echoed in the texture of the scarlet polka dots!
:-) Thanks so much Lori!
Hilarious and the feather texture is brilliant Vo!
:-) Thanks Alex!
LOL, my brother also called them chicken pops. I also figured it worked with the halftone dot type of look although it is REALLY close up and dense especially for chicken pox! Am totally loving the reactions this design is having on everyone. :-)
Like many children, my sister used the nearest word she was familiar with, to talk about what she heard, so she always called them 'chicken pops.' Which makes it rather literally 'pop' art, doesn't it?
Yikes! I sure am glad I never had THOSE chicken pox! Way too chickeny and dense! *Shudder* : D (Thanks for the chuckle.)
Bwhahahaha, I just had to have fun with this theme and I am so glad it tickles your funny bones girls!
So funny!!!! I always love a polka dot!
heehee!! I love it!!
bwhahaha, I am soooo glad ya'll got it. I have to wonder if being a little bit off the beaten track that will hurt my placement but hey, I had fun thinking this up!
super funky! love me a polka and a feather :D xxx
ROFL' The edge was where Pop Artists lived ... and I love the way you've pushed the theme to the edge!
I get it! There are chicken feathers in the background! Very clever, Vo!
