Dragonflies hovering, as far as the eye can see...
In Darwin, where I live, the beginning of the dry season is heralded by the sudden arrival of hundreds of dragonflies. They come in a variety of stunning colours and have become a symbol for many things, including the Darwin City Council and the Dragonfly Craft Fair, which is held during the dry each year.

Thanks so much Tina and Victoria! I have a new sewing room and I just can't stop... finishing off everything that had been waiting to be made up all busy year and hanging out for my next batch of fabrics to arrive... :)

Great work Robyn!
Robyn-These bags are awesome! Every single one is so beautiful but I'm really in love with the contrast of the purple and the jute!

Jute tote bag with dragonfly pocket, along with a design from my Ondine collection.
Oooh, it's so fun when you find comments you've missed! Thank you lovely peeps, for your lovely comments :) The wings really did shimmer once they had sequins stitched on them!
So very pretty! I like the printed - up colors even better than the preview colors! The dragonfly wings really do shimmer!

Oooooo! I like the large scale! It allows all those charming details in the wings to show up.
Thanks Sue Ellen :D
Wow! This printed up just beautifully! Even the iridescence of the wings comes through ... congratulations!
Printed on organic cotton knit at a fairly large scale.
