The flowers printed distinctly even at the 450dpi scale. So I was considering adding critters to this one (because those would need to be similarly small to crawl on the spades). Eg ladybird, shield bug ...

No, I definitely can't tessellate circles. There's <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squaring_the_circle">an ancient mathematical problem and belated proof</a> to that effect - even if you're allowed to chop them up into pieces first. Meanwhile, probably more people are bored by my entries than keen to see them. So at least you're one of those who is amused.
Very nice. I do believe that you can turn anything into a tessellation. It makes me look forward to seeing your entries.
