I am retired and my main passion is digital art followed by quilting . Once I discovered Spoonflower I could see this as the next step in joining these two interests together.

Hi Amy,Glad you like these tile designs. Apparently they are about a year old by now - and you looked closely and saw the textures and the powder rub- did I tell you about that or do you KNOW?Well spotted. many thanks.

Shirley, the polymer clay tile is amazing with all it's textures and I love the gold powder/rub on the tile, makes for some beautiful fabric designs!!!
Thanks Su, I'm happy that you spotted this once again, When you use artwork from another medium you get to enjoy it all over again . You know this so well with your designs. Swamped with stuff but must do some sewing soooon. Would love to use this for something.
Thank you Lisa. It was great that you looked so closely to see the textures. Love your designs- always refreshing.
Struck by this design all over again - it is just so stunning!
Such beautiful textures and colors! I can see this as a skirt, either a full one or a fitted pencil skirt, that would be so sharp!
Reen,Thank you so much, glad you like this combination.

Rhonda,How do you do that? You see things I had not thought of and I now cannot look at this without thinking the same thing.Thank you for your very kind remarks,
Love the colours and pattern combinatios!
The elements of air, earth, fire and water seem to be entwined in the undulating woven pattern of this gorgeous design!
Thank you Su.Glad you like this, another one using my own tiles. You have given me great advise and I can see what you are saying. Meanwhile the tile hanging is not getting finished and time is disappearing. This comes first and sewing later perhaps.
This is just so striking with the combination of the many different scales and the wavy arrangement - I can definitely see it as scarves!
Thank you for your great comment on my design. Sometimes these combinations come by accident and in this case its a bit this way but it inspires me to actually arrange some tiles (which this design was made from ) in a blue, orange and neutral combination.
Nice pattern and color combination!
