Your design is so very beautiful and sweet! You are so incredibly talented!
This is a winner Rhonda. I love the pink against the dark chocolate!
I finally got internet again.. so now I can look at all the great designs that have been posted for this contest...This one of yours Rhonda is just yummy. I want to sink my teeth into that lovely chocolate and taste the sweet flowers. I hope you do well Rhonda! :^D ~ Sylvie
Wonderful design, Rhonda, and I enjoyed reading your description. I came across the name "Eglantine" when doing genealogy. Also, and this goes along with the egg topic: there was a hen who lived on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Her name was Eglantine and she was the champion layer of the Eastern Shore. Newspaper articles were written about her! So one word: "Eglantine" and it brought a host of memories for me. Great design.
Lovely pink blossom!
Thank you very much for your kind and generous comments, Anino and Terese! :-o)
Oh Rhonda another of your exquisite hand drawn designs. I've been away from SF for a little while and I've come back to this perfection. As always beautifully executed design, colour and scale. Just beautiful! And your description...brings the whole design to life. I could eat them all!...T
Yummy! and very beautiful. well done.
Thank you very much, Angel, Sannie, Jan and Cheryl! It is so nice to read your sweet compliments! :-o)
Absolutely beautiful, and delicious!
Your lovely eglantine wreaths make these chocolate eggs look even more delectable! The sweet pinks and deep brown are a rich combo. Now I'm craving chocolate...

beautiful AND yummy!!!! :o)
Thank you for the lovely comment, Sara! Eglantine is a beautiful flower, and the word has fascinated me since I first read it in a Shakespearian poem (a long time ago, last millenium!). I love learning new snippets of obscure knowledge and I am glad that my design has introduced you to something new too! ;-o)
Love the pink and brown color combo, and nice concept with the briar rose! I learned something new today :)
Thank you very much for the sweet praise, Katarina and Elishka! :-)

Thank you very much for the sweet comment, Kelly!
mmm, now I'm hungry! I love your pink flowers both on and off the eggs.
Thank you very much for your lovely comments, Samarra and Nancy!:-o)
Your Chocolate eggs look totally delicious! Reminds me of the handmade coconut cream eggs I use to devour as a kid. Little sugar flower and buds laid in the chocolate. My Mom I think talked the candy maker out of his recipe....she made them later in my life at home. Can't quite get it right myself now days!!
Pretty (and yummy)!
Thank you very much for the marvelous comments, Alex, Isabella, Dianne and Melanie!
Beautiful work, the flowers are very delicate and pretty, lovely!
Perfect floral choice for this theme, Rhonda. You've drawn each element beautifully and created a mouth-watering design. It reminds me of the most special Easter eggs of my childhood.
Ooooo this makes me think of chocolate! Lovely work Rhonda :o)
Thank you very much, Greta, Cean, Christine, Jana, Vo and Mary! I have really enjoyed reading your yummy comments! ;-)
reminds me of the wonderfully decorated chocolates that I saw in Switzerland! :D
Chocolately goodness Rhonda!
So beautiful and delicious! (OK, now I want some chocolate)
Seriously though, this print would be lovely on a silky spring dress.
Yummy! makes me want chocolate right now! I'll have to settle for a coffee shake
So dainty and pretty, Rhonda, and all of the comments about egg treats have me drooling!
Rhonda, I just loved those sugar frosting eggs----especially the little ones with vignettes on the inside! oh, the memories----what a delightful design, full of grace and spring time elegance! :)
Thank you very much for the wonderful comments, Tina, evelynrosedesigns, Julie, Su, Victoria and Janiece! These were the extra special kind of eggs that I yearned for as a child. The decorations fascinated me as much as the chocolate. I would nibble on the sugar-frosting, savouring every sweet crumb, before starting on the egg. :-)
This is making me hungry. When I first saw the small version chocolate exploded in my head. No place close to get good chocolate at the hour. I have had these little deserts as a kid. We ate the whole thing at my house. lol
Yummy! This reminds me of the large chocolate covered cream eggs, with beautiful decorations in sugar icing, that my sister and I would get for Easter every year. We were allowed to have a slice for dessert each night, and they would last a week or more.
Luscious! I love the gradient on the chocolate eggs - it makes them so very convincing as chocolate. Loved reading your note and the details about Saint Eglantine too Rhonda. And now I'm hungry!!
Beautiful design Rhonda! The delicate flowers look so pretty on the chocolate eggs!
Rhonda this is so gorgeous! Great design and colors!
Thank you very much for your sweet comments, Sarah and Patty! Sarah, did you find your face getting closer and closer to the screen as your taste-buds came to attention? It is a sad fact that these tasty treats are for the eyes only! :-)
So Beautiful Rhonda! ...and so delicious! Yum!! :)
I didn't lick the screen just now. I really didn't! (Screens don't taste like chocolate!) This is so yummy!
Thank you so much for the lovely, heart-warming comments! Thank you Dinorah, Yvonne, Victoria, Sue Ellen, Elena and Tiina! :-)
Beautiful and delicious!
wow! Wonderful !
oooh, painting with sugar on chocolate! Does it get any better? Yes, actually, when the painting is one of your exquisite flower paintings, Rhonda, especially with butterfly accents.. These are lovely eggs, and the pale slate-y blue background sets them off perfectly.
They look yummy! Just the kind of pretty chocolate eggs I want to eat!
I love the combination of these sweet flowers with chocolate eggs. Beautiful design : )
