tallulahdahling has a good idea.
Fascinating! I want to see this as wallpaper.
I see a future kaleidoscope quilt using this fabric!

aren't you a sweetie! Fussing with a tape measure, to get from my waistband to just below my calves is about 32". Whoa, that seems long, but the measurements sure come out that way.
When I add it up in yardage to make a gathered long skirt, that's a LOT of yards of silk, so maybe I want to show my knees in a 22" skirt anyway. Or put it over an underskirt. It just looks so flowy and evening and formal... I'm looking forward to anyone's project pictures.

Chloe, I'm not really sure, let me play with it and see what I can get out of the design. What dimensions would be more ideal? What fabric would you want it on?
(Or a coordinating pattern of the moire, and one could get two borders from the original cloth.)
I also think it would make a beautiful skirt, but 22" is too short for a skirt for me. How much trouble would it be to have the border on one edge and the moire extended?
Thanks so much, Kelly!
Mel, Thanks! If I have time later in the week I can photograph the swatch if you want. I don't have a larger sample yet. The details turn out nicely.
Sora, Thanks for your comment! When I had it printed, I had it done "mirror" style, and I don't know why it wasn't that way when you viewed it. I've reverted it back to mirror. That is the only repeat where the pattern always matches up.
This is so absolutely lovely; I'd love to make a really flowy skirt, with this along the hemline.
I have to ask, though -- when printed, does it still have that line at the vertical 5" mark on the preview, where the pattern doesn't quite match up?
This is gorgeous. I'd love to see it printed, though.
Thank you so much! :D
