Thank you, Isabella. The painting on the eggs reminds me of that technique where one floats oil paints on the surface of water.

Your gorgeous eggs have a wonderful, iridescent quality. This is a lovely border design.
Thanks for the kind words, Su, and Rhonda. I also appreciate your having actually checked out the fabric page, instead of just saying HUH!?! when seeing the plain aqua rectangle instead of any Painted Eggs. I don't know what's going on, but I have e-mailed SF, and am waiting to hear.
This is one of those designs about which I can say "I learned a lot doing it." Much of it might have been much easier with pencils instead of pixels, but I am pleased with the result.

How very charming! The painted eggs look wonderful in this decorative border. It is strange tho' that it shows as a plain solid when comments are made, altho' it looks fine (i.e. the swatch view) from your Designs page... I guess the thumbnail that shows with the comments is drawn from a different portion (or size) of the design... maybe someone else knows more about this?
The swatch view of your elegant border design looks wonderful, Sue Ellen! The gorgeous eggs are nestled like precious treasures in their cosy niches.
OK ... This is weird! I wonder my border design is showing up as a plain solid? The design is in the swatch area.
