What a great framework for your lions and lambs! Wonderful quilt Noel!
This is what Noel quilted using my 'Lions, lambs and easter lilies' design for the center of a centerpiece. A very talented quilter: I love the puffy organic feeling given to this fabric composition through the quilting. I don't want to say too much more and possibly spoil the surprise for someone... Thank you so much Noel for letting me share your composition, quilting, and nice picture too.

Thanks so much Magenta for your great comments - especially re the deeper meaning - really appreciate that!

This design is extremely eye catching and very cute too, plus with it's deeper meaning of Easter, what an excellent idea!
Thanks so much Janiece - and that quote about March was the original inspiration! Then I got a bit side-tracked on the leadership thing...
This is gorgeous." And the lion shall lie down with the lamb' is a biblically inspired quote about a time when all creatures will live side by side in peace. Not an actual bible quote. I have also always heard in in relationship to the month of March which is said come in as a lion and leave as a lamb. Very pretty design. A great inspirational design.
Sorry! Reattaching broken links: I am just so pleased with how well this printed - showing the 8x8" swatch on basic combed cotton (part of the design only).

This is so gorgeous Su, I just love the animals and the colours
Thanks so much for the lovely comment Karen - and for favoriting this design!
When I saw this fabric again, I just had to mark it a favorite. I love this design.
Thanks so much Winterblossom for the feedback on another potential use for this design as fabric - I would love to see that!
This is a really interesting design, especially as a person of faith in Jesus. This would make a great banner in churches.
Thank you so much Rhonda, I really appreciate your feedback!
I was pleased to see this beautiful design is now available to purchase! There is such powerful imagery in your illustrations for it, Su.
Thank you very much for the compliments Aldea, much appreciated!
Amazing painting Su! I thought it was a photo mash-up at first and then saw the detail and was blown away. Great concept too.
Thanks for your lovely comment Helene!
Thanks so much Amy, Shirley and Natasha for your wonderful comments - I really really appreciate them!
Great take on the theme, so powerful and wonderfully illustrated!
Love this!! I think you just gave us a lesson in what makes an attractive but thoughtful design.I know I can learn from this.
Absolutely gorgeous!!!! Just love it!!!
Thank you so very much Melanie, Katarina, Karen, Deborah, Sigrid. Cal and Karen (again - you really do like it! Time to get out those paints??) I really appreciate all the wonderful feedback, and extra interpretation on what works in this design... others always see more than I do... and I see I got my left & right round the wrong way when I added the detail views - it is the moth-eaten look of the lion on the LEFT I like! Thanks again everyone!
You have my vote. What a beautiful design. Good luck in the contest.
This is a MASTERPIECE! And I love the power of the compressed and crowded space where everything is one. Truly a remarkable piece. You certainly found inspiration in this weeks theme....bravo.
GReaTT! You made a masterpiece here. Good luck! Interesting to read your accompanying explanation.
This is a beautiful design and I enjoyed reading all the information. Love the soft colors. Arrows are mentioned and at first I wondered if the lilies represented the arrows pointing every which way? Great interpretation of the contest theme.
Wow, this is gorgeous!
Very unique and beautiful design!!!
This really is totally fantastic, Su! Awesome!
Thanks for the lovely comments Vo and Carole, very much appreciated!
Speeeeechless!!!! This is utterly beautiful and glorious.
Really great concept Su.
Thanks so much for your lovely comments and really helpful feedback Tina, Rhonda and Michelle. I'm not sure this design really works (I think it is a bit crowded) but I was really happy to be able to illustrate the leadership concept, I'm happy with that part of it! Thanks so much again!
Beautifully illustrationed, love the placement of the lions and lambs and the inspiration behind the design :)
This is a stand-out brilliant design, Su! I am tremendously impressed by how you have taken an intriguing concept and turned it into an inspiring design. I love how you have projected the idea that leadership can wear many different faces and forms!
Beautiful illustrations and very interesting article! I instantly thought of the bystander effect quite common here in NYC.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bystander_effect
