Once there was a lady who fell into a deep sleep after a long day’s work. Upon entering the Land of Dreams, she discovered the Isle of Design where the sky falls into water and the water falls into sky. The Isle of Design looked familiar in some ways but different in other ways. There were mountains and trees but they had been cobbled together using designs on fabric. Even the animals, although in recognizable shapes, were creatures of fabric with various designs. There, on the Isle of Design, she met the Lady of Colors. The Lady of Colors is in charge of the flock of Clown Sheep who live at the rockiest top of the Isle of Design. Every so often the Lady of Colors will shear the sheep for their wool and make whatever is needed on the Isle of Design. Welcome to the Isle of Design.
The designs in this collection are based on my original concept, story and illustrations. I hope you enjoy visiting the Isle of Design as much as I enjoyed creating it.
