This artist creates a Cuisinart of abstract mirror designs borrowing bits from Victorian, Edwardian, paisley, and art nouveau. She also draws orphan cars, and adapts a few very old ads. Most of her work is hand drawn with twists, vines & Celtic knots.

Just three colors (white, raspberry violet, and a paler violet) are in these dots and stripes, hearts and diamonds, spades and vines. Out of those three colors come interlocking circles, diamond horizontal rows that form rows of scallops, and six and five pointed stars.
It all looks vaguely exotic and theatrical to me--like the scarf of the Gypsy fortune teller (who was really not a Gypsy at all, but from Brooklyn) or maybe the tablecloth under her gazing ball. (file j53c2-ch)
