Just two colors (a rose pink and a darker raspberry) combine in line art to create these twisting and curling slightly smaller than 4 inch diameter squares.
Each square has stars and hearts (or spades if you count their curly vine stems) and a heart and vine border, in a design reminiscent of the kind of hand painting from a pre-WWII circus or carnival midway (or maybe the carousel of that same attraction).
There is lots going on in the background from dots to stripes that make the two colors have shadings. But there are only two colors here. No actual halftones.
