Through intensive geneaological research, two years ago I learned I /my family are directly descended from French, Scottish, English Kings & Queens. One of the families we have many ancestors from is the DeVermandois; they are my favorites. :) This discovery, previously unknown to my family, has had an impact on my work & inspired me greatly. I find myself thinking what their lives were like, what their reality was; I love researching Art & textile designs from those medieval times well into the 18th century. This design is my take on a vintage stylized French script & Toile; hope it pleases you & thanks for looking~
