Do blue jays have to be blue? I played with a bluejay sketch to create this whimsical bird-on-a-branch design with orange sherbet stars and mint and gray sun decorations.
Some complex transparencies create depth and texture in this nature-themed design. The birds are semi-transparent and come out in a spectrum from orange to red. The orange highlights are splashes of color against the cool grays and blue-green mints.
