This artist creates a Cuisinart of abstract mirror designs borrowing bits from Victorian, Edwardian, paisley, and art nouveau. She also draws orphan cars, and adapts a few very old ads. Most of her work is hand drawn with twists, vines & Celtic knots.

"The car that led is way ahead," "Treat Yourself to the thrill and thrift of this style star," and "Take a Look! Take a Ride! You'll Take it Away!" are the three rather moronic slogans packed into this tiny advertisement for a new 1949 Studebaker Champion 4 door sedan.
The ad goes on to say that if you put $670 down (which was quite a sum in 1949) you have 24 months to pay the balance of the car's price.
They do not mention what that total price might be.
But they add "It's trim and sleek with no gas-wasting excess bulk!", "It parks and maneuvers with delightful ease!", It is "Solid and Sound with Studebaker craftsmanship!," and "It is the right kind of vehicle for California's freeways!"
