Pen and watercolour illustration of a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo
Anyone who has ever encountered a Sulphur Crested Cockatoo will know just how angelic they appear with those beautiful white feathers. But don't be fooled, they are devilish and naughty and have the potential to create unspeakable havoc!

Thankyou chantae! I've got some plans a little down the line to do some more, especially some more of our gorgeous birdlife :)

Just gorgeous. You should do more of our native animals in this style. It's right on trend!
So delicate, tenous and nice illustration !

Thanks cjldesigns :) Yes they are terribly noisy!! Not the prettiest birdcall, but certainly distinctive!
Beautiful illustration! They can be extremely noisy too!
Thanks so much Su and Rhonda for your wonderful comments :) Yes cockatoos are like the punk piratesof the bird world haha! They have attitude, that's for sure! They're also so beautiful - I love finding their white feathers on my lawn and watching them fly over my house makes me feel very lucky to live in Australia :) Thanks again, I'm glad you like my design!
Sulphur crested cockatoos are like the punk pirates of the bird world! They are clever and mischievous with a great talent for mimicry and a wicked sense of humour. They are very adept at learning to talk, especially if it involves inappropriate words and phrases! I love how you have conveyed both the angelic loveliness of their beautiful white plumage and the calculating, impish expression in their beady eyes!
I can totally relate to what you say about this bird and I think you've done really well to get something of both - angel and devil - into this beautiful illustration.
Thanks Isbelo! :)
Thanks so much, Elena!
I love this one!
Some details of the cockatoo, as they are a bit lost at a smaller scale.
