anniedeb says: Thanks so much, Janiece, Penny, Sylvie and Su. When I started out sewing, it was going to be a pillow then my brain took a funny turn -- ha! Thank you for your comments and for taking a look. I sure do appreciate it. Sylvie -- those wildflowers are blooming crazy this year. We have had welcomed rain and after the long drought, everything that grows is going gangbusters!

anniedeb says: Photo of my OMGWWIT Bag in its folded position. The bag is made with two fat quarters of Spoonflower linen-cotton canvas. After I stitched the two fat quarters together, I thought “Why would I want to make a pillow out of this when it would make a great drawstring bag?” It was hot that day and I think I was a bit delirious because I stitched the casing to the bag and I looked at it again and thought, “What would I do with a drawstring bag this big? A laundry bag sure but the fabric design is too elegant for a laundry bag.” So I ended up with my OMGWWIT bag which stands for "Oh My Goodness, What Was I Thinking?" Bag. It's two totes in one. This photo shows it folded with a red loop around a zebra button. The handles are made from 1" wide polypro black webbing. The design printed beautifully on the Spoonflower linen-cotton canvas.

anniedeb says: Thank you, Su, for your comments and for taking a look at the design. Yes, that is the original woodblock that was used. I had a piece of paper I'd saved where I'd photocopied the design then taken black ink and inked it in. (This was before computers.) Fortunately I saved it and took a picture of that inked in copy then worked with it in Photoshop. Thanks again.

anniedeb says: Thank so much, Sue Ellen. The combination of black and white it always dynamic. I was impressed with Spoonflower's black. This design printed well on the basic cotton, but it also printed well on the linen-cotton canvas. Something about the weave of that fabric. Color prints well on it. Thank you for taking a look at the design. I appreciate it.
