Baroque excess combines with country craftsmanship in hot summer colors for this swirly, curly excursion into a mixed up amalgam of style. I don't know what is really going on here, only that it looks delicate and romantic, and flowery, and bright.
You have big floating diamonds. Their edges are twisted with white worms. From their tops and bottoms sprout baskets full of paisley flowers. From their sides are a hourglass of woven plaid. Above and below the plaid are simple country petunias. And then there are the art nouveau grand penmanship twists. If this makes any sense to you, great, because it doesn't to me. I just draw them. I don't have to really understand them, thankfully.
