When I was a child we had an alphabet book (illustrated by Tasha Tudor) that started with an antique doll and went on to list her belongings from b to z.
The name of the doll was Annabelle, and if she had gotten her own fabric, this would have been it.
In this fabric black art nouveau ribbons and tendrils curl around perky zinnias that have paisley leaves, and curved edge diamonds open up to show their wine colored mouths. It is all very delicate with very subdued colors. Just like I imagine the 1880's Anabelle would have wanted.
