Turquoise blues with rich burlap texture.
I ordered a swatch in the linen/cotton and was so pleased! This design has a very smart, sophisticated and rich-textured quality. The colors tend to move into more of a green/blue turquoise with rich texturing and color gradations. Would look right at home in a Mid-Century Modern room.

Thanks so much for your thoughtful comments Su. You seem so well informed about fabrics and I learn something new each time I read your comments. I had to look up "ombre fabric". Many of my finished designs are discoveries while playing with software options rather than intentional so I certainly was not familiar with this technique. This fabric is richer in person than the digital image reveals. For instance there is a much broader color change/gradation with deep rust-browns and purples that don't really show up in the digital. I love the room divider/screen idea!

When I first looked at this I thought "intimate ombre in a check"... that kind of ombre effect is normally much larger scale but it looks great in this small scale, and I can just imagine the textural richness of the print. A really eye-catching classic print, and it does have a strong mid-century feel that would look good in soft furnishings or even those wall-dividers used in offices (would be a nice alternative to single colors).
