Gosh Sue Ellen, I had to go pull the two swatches out and have a look at them together. Quite a nice effect when you rotate one 90 degrees. I'll have to remember that next time I'm composing a quilt!
The pink and green are one of those combinations that have kind of an optical illusion effect, wherein they kind of move when you first look at them.

I like this colorway, Lori. One hesitates to use the word subtle for something this bright, but it is less contrast-y than the lime on brown, so, in a way, it's more subtle ;-) It is very Spring- and Summer-feeling, while the brown one is more Fall- and Winter-feeling. This might make the two of them a good fit for seasonal slipcovers and window decor: they have the same dynamic with the marvelous giant graining, but the colors change the mood.
That dark spot on the lower left side is something on my lens!
