I've been selling my batiks for 20+ years. Now I'm having a lot of fun scanning swatches and making new designs here.

This is from an original batik on a 20 x 14 inch muslin swatch on a half brick repeat.
I just received this in gift wrap form and LOVE it! BUT. I can clearly see the lines between the repeats... if that makes sense. I work with an actual piece of material, batiking and hand dyeing it before scanning it for spoonflower. My original swatches don't always dye evenly and I'm not adept at photoshop.
If the lines are too distinct for your project I can make this a mirror repeat pattern (which works very well for most of my designs).

Thanks, Boo! I was thinking about curtains for my kitchen with this design ... another Winter project...

So refreshing to see such yummy fruits as sweets (says me who has recently given up sugar - but is indulging in delicious cherries with gay abandon!). This is definitely a useable fabric with many uses. Big thumbs up from me!
Sweet Gift Wrap!

sweet cherries :
Thanks Wren! Now that you pointed it out they do look like musical notes! (That would be an interesting design, cherries on sheet music... hmm)
Hurray for cherries! Such a musical placement, as though these are eighth notes set up to be played. I digress...your perpetual fan.
The cherries look quite plump and lush against the crackly texture of the batik and the graceful sweeps of leaf and stem. Gorgeous in yardage view, too!
This is really beautiful; I love the batik. It would make a lovely summer dress.
Yummy! Nice to see some sweets that are FRUIT sweets (rather than sugar, lollies, candy & cake) and the batik texture is lovely. One of a select few from this contest that I can imagine using as a fabric!
This looks delicious!
