This design started as a photograph of an exhibition of small art pieces at a local gallery, which included a fiber art piece of my own. I manipulated the photo (adding and erasing pieces etc) to create a seamless repeat, added a soft focus/water color type filter and finally manipulated the colors to create a cohesive color palette.
