This is based on an original linocut block print design (actually two separate block prints... one of the checkerboard pattern hand-printed in white ink, and one of the teapot, hand-printed over the checkerboard in black ink). Originally it was printed on parchment-colored paper, and I tinted it pink in Photoshop.
