This vintage remix shows a busy street that's been hit with a case of all work and no play. The average family is working three times as many hours to get no where as my parents did to get pretty much no where either. The difference is that we had time together. My mother was a stay at home mom until I was about 8 years old when she went to work and hasn't stopped working since. We had a small house and all we needed to get by on my dads truckers salary, which wasn't really even full time all the time. But we had a house, electric and food. Over the years that has changed dramatically. Most families have to have both parents in the work place to do what my parents did. People are working harder and longer while their wages have dropped or stayed stagnant while cost of living has gone through the roof. Yes, It's a mad World we live in. What are we going to do about it?
