The Storey "Riviera Tee" blouse pattern with a scallop shell design.
The positioning of the pattern pieces (not
owned by me) was adjusted to match the underlying seamless repeat (which is
my design) and to fit onto any of the Spoonflower fabrics, including the 40" cotton-silk, with spare material on the wider types. The instructions supplied by Storey don't include where to cut out the pieces; but the existence of notches (distinguishing front from back) dictate that it must be along the black outline with the seam (and hem?) allowances being on the inside of this rather than the outside. So the assembled smock-blouse would have a maximum chest width of 32 inches (even with seams as small as ¼") - ie a girl's size.
