There is a vibrantly luminous quality to this design that is very appealing!

Thank you Sue Ellen! I have also enjoyed playing with digital art from a "light and depth" perspective. To me it feels like sculpting with light. There is something mysterious about the way a design can transmit those depths through contrasting color and light. It is fun to do something and yet not even quite understand the "how". It just "is".............if that makes sense.
This is inspiring, Joan! The colorings are lovely, as is the brushwork and transparency. Abstract is the hardest thing for me, and I love seeing someone succeed at it! (I know SF don't have it, but this would be wonderful on silk organdy or organza over a plain-colored silk lining. Somehow I'm not sure the cotton voile would do it justice, but it might be worth trying.)
This printed great on the cotton sampler. I would love to see it on the cotton silk.
Thank you Su!
Wonderful! I love the multi-layered look and feel of this design, and the way the daubs or dabs of paint grow and retreat with the different sizing and colors, giving the whole a fascinating texture and true abstract appearance.
Thanks Pamela! It is fun to try to go in unusual directions and to have ya'll enjoy the designs.
You are doing so much beautiful color work! Keep it up!
