hahaha - Joan, that's such a fun idea! And since you get a tube with the wallpaper... I'm giggling at the idea of turning birchbark into a design that gets turned into wallpaper that gets turned into faux trees and logs! Birchbark logs with no bugs... I really want to try it! ;oD

I'm always thinking this design would be so great wrapped around my Spoonflower wallpaper mailing tubes and used for decorations!
I'm reattaching old photos - Christina of Christina Powell Photography - christinapowell.com - made these gorgeous birchtbark curtains from this pattern printed on Kona cotton. I don't know whether to admire the curtains or the photography - both gorgeous! Thank you for letting me share them, Christina!

my old photos disappeared so I'm deleting and re-attaching them. This photo shows white, pink and brown birchbark swatches against real birchbark.

:-) Thanks again, Christina! You made beautiful curtains with it, and I'm delighted to see you designing fabric noe too!

Did I ever mention this is a beautiful design?
thanks Penny! I think I designed these before we 'met' each other via SF.... way back in the dawn of time, or at least in early beta testing. ;o)
Don't know how I missed the birch bark collection. Looks very nice for curtains!
bwa ha ha - thanks stagemother! alas that it's all burned up now - nice to have the fabric as a memento of it keeping us warm all winter! ;o)

Wow, you sure have attractive firewood! This is a great fabric concept, very versatile.
thank you sklater! I love birchbark, so it was lots of fun to make.
thanks linkolisa! I too have had lots of ideas that other people implemented before me. great minds must think alike ;o) ...but I didn't ever think to make a screwdriver floral design!! Very fun!
and thanks Victoria! If only I wasn't afraid to cut into my fabric, I'd try out some of my ideas! ;o)

What a wonderful idea. No more frustration working with real bark. The finished project will probably hold up much better too.
Wow, I had a similar idea over the summer - great to see it actually implemented! I love the birch bark subtle colours and textures too, and these look lovely.
