This fabric design was created using photographic images of different sock monkeys that I have made over the years.

I absolutely agree... I'm sizing it down now. Thank you for your advice.

This series of fabrics is cute, but in my mind in too large a scale. The only thing you can do in a scale this size is decorating (curtains, bedspread, blankets). You can't make a nightgown for a little girl and add a real sock monkey to it for her to take to bed because a sleeve would cut up the face or tail and you would never see even one whole monkey.
I know that one could ask you to resize this, but how many people really do that? For that reason I think this would do better with the monkeys about 3 inches high and a note that they can request a larger scale, rather than offer all of them this big.
I also think that a project image showing a little girl in a simple sock monkey dress, holding a real sock monkey could have appeal to sewing grannies. I know when my mother made herself a dress, me a little one just like it, and a third one for my Barbie to wear, I was over the moon with joy. Unless there is a copyright problem with a sock monkey image, I think you could have a hit here.
