A loose interpretation of a quatrefoil design done in a manner that would look at home in a Matisse painting.
This design was done with the Nasher Museum of Art limited palette. It is my interpretation of Matisse's interpretation of the Persian, Arab and African classic textiles depicted in his paintings.

Thank you so much Tara and Catherine!
Wow, love your entire collection! I really like how this piece in particular has the paper cut look which Matisse was so famous for. I also like how it has a 3D effect which makes it really cool to look at, and you did a beautiful job placing your colors!
Thank you so much Lori!
So pretty and the texture makes the other design motifs pop! Good luck in the contest :)
Thank you so much Isabella and Rhonda!
You have captured the essence of exotic Oriental textile patterns in your superb design! This was a style that would have been well-known to Matisse as it was very popular with his contemporaries!
Fabulous! You've done lovely work with this palette.
Thank you so much Alicia and Alex!
Love it! Excellent use of the colours.
really nice, I can easily imagine this in one of Matisse's paintings. :)
