Wren. hmmmmm. I guess I'd have to see it applied in that way to know if I'd like it on those products. I can imagine it would be complimentary to a stainless steel device. I'm thinking about covering a couch and/or a couple of chairs in this slate color and then do some pillows for them in the purple (or vice versa). I've laid them next to each other and really love how they look together. And they are so earthy, rich and quiet. I've seen a lot of grey upholstery in design magazines used as a neutral. It's the new beige.

A wallet or device case would catch the pattern nicely, close to the tile repeat. (I was playing with small bag ideas this week.) It's nice to see deep slate/charcoal grey -- it's harder to find than one would expect.
You have a good eye....yes, I'm so pleased with how well this printed. I want to do several
projects with this collection. I like your idea of using it as trim too. For all the movement on in this design it actually lays down nicely into a quiet neutral that could be punctuated with more vibrant colored pillows....
I'll bet this prints well. Sharp edges like that are often well-defined on the printed fabric. This one would be tempting to cut up and use for bands of trim...trying unexpected angles.
Thanks Susan. It does have that moire waviness. I've seen this in the the linen and just love how rich it is, but no shimmer like moire silk.
very cool; almost a moire silk effect.
