Thank you Kari!
Aww thanks for the fab comments ladies!
Really wild with the white pattern om top! Very nice!
Great idea Kez! I love the positive-negative space in your design :)
Thank you Victoria! what a lovely comment!
I really like the "wild Matisse" idea. It makes you want to see beyond the white shapes, mysterious and beautiful!!
Thanks Rhonda and Katie!
Your fabulous design has the look of a wilderness garden being viewed through the fancy ironwork lace of an ornate gate or fence! It is a fitting artistic interpretation of the Matisse theme, Marta!
Wow! Great idea!
Ha ha! Thanks for your fab comments, Alex and Emma!
There's so much going on in your design! So much energy and depth....Wow!! Good luck with the competition : D
Wild indeed! Love the energy of this design.
Ha ha! Thanks so much Barbara... it is a bit different from my usual :D I don't mind if you call yours "Messy Matisse" I don't think the votes go on the name!
I love this, Kez! Quite an unexpected approach. But *DRAT* ! I was going to call mine "Messy Matisse"! : D
Thank you ladies, for the comments! I'm glad you like it.. I don't have much time for painstaking work at the moment so this contest suited me! I just had a little experiment with paint, scanner and half tone dots to get a painterly effect.... much fun :)
It looks great with the stunning white overlay! It really interprets the color scheme quite differently, very well done!
What a clever use of the limited palette! Good luck in the contest.
