Tessellating snowflakes - in fairly plain, layered form. Currently displaying a version in a subset of the core colours of the retro skiing contest palette. Other colours, stylings, sizes and orientations are available on request (eg the original pale grey version) and you can even ask for a combination of several designs together.

It's something of a dual interpretation - the other one being that the inner layered parts are thickened areas of the same snowflake. Ice crystals vary their growth with localised environmental conditions - sometimes needles, sometimes plates and sometimes cylinders or thickening of existing areas.

I like the soft colorway and the small scale of this one, and the larger flakes being held/created in the grid of the smaller ones ... nice pattern, that.
No, I entered a different one (hence this being set to swatch size not FQ size). I'd already uploaded this one before there even was a contest.
Did you enter this? I didn't see it in the contest (maybe I missed it somehow).
