This artist creates a Cuisinart of abstract mirror designs borrowing bits from Victorian, Edwardian, paisley, and art nouveau. She also draws orphan cars, and adapts a few very old ads. Most of her work is hand drawn with twists, vines & Celtic knots.

When I was a child and closed my eyes, I used to see all these infinitely complex images in my mind. If I touched my eyelids I got to see stars and lightning too.
Scientists call those images phosphenes. And though this is not as complex and infinite as the real images that are generated by brains, it sort of has the feeling of all the curly swirly stars and shapes I would see. (file k64g3)
