A cheater quilt of sorts in which alternating diamonds full of folding gray accordion points meet tribal sunflowers under a hot summer sun.
You get two different things going on here. There are the inner diamond shapes linked together by vines or strings, and then there is the orange sunshine/sunflower border around each diamond, forming a diagonal lattice of patches.
