Thanks so much Sharon, really appreciate your lovely comment & helpful feedback. I just had a couple of sales in this collection - must be Halloween coming!

Great graphic design. Sinuous and beautiful.
Belated thanks Amy and new thanks Tina for your Halloween-oriented comments! Sadly I think this design must be just too scarey - or not appropriate enough?? - as it has yet to feature in any uses for Halloween... I do really appreciate your comments on it tho!

Su I had to come back and admire this! So beautiful and as Amy says perfect for Halloween!
Wow, what a perfect colorway for Halloween, Su, I love these snakes....although creepy, you made them beautiful!
Ha ha Penny, re your wishful thinking about this design in a sun dress in January... altho' that timing would be perfect on this side of the world (or, if you're like me and it takes you so long to sew anything that the next season has arrived before you've finished...)

Just saw this! An impressive design. I think it would be great for a sun dress altho that might be wishful thinking in January!
This is how the proofing swatch printed - a nice cheerful "pumpkin orange" background (daylight photo).

Thanks so much Kris and Joan for your lovely comments, much appreciated.
Wonderful graphic design - looks great in this bold pumpkin orange :)
I'm with Brittney, the background really is effective with the wavy stripes...........

Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments, and that description of this as "sss-sss-simply stunning" really made me smile! Thanks again, a great way to start the day!
Wonderful design, Su. Love that pumpkin orange colour.
Interesting, stylized, design.
I love this design Su, great colours and illustration!
Su, snakes really do creep me out ~ but your pattern is sss-sss-simply stunning!
This is amazing! I love the flow that you gave to the fabric design and the colors. Nice job Su! It's really stunning. -Tara
Thanks so much for the wonderful comments and feedback, I am so pleased that even the people who DON'T like snakes don't mind this design! Very much appreciated - really made my day!
Su this is fabulous! So graphic and modern! AWESOME!
This is great, Su. Love the pattern and the texture. I think if saw this snake, though, I'd run and get my camera! :-)
ooh, what a great pattern! nice colors too - a great graphic pattern, very strong!
love this! makes a great graphic pattern!
I love the contrast between the snakes and the bright speckled background!
Very nice snake print! (and I don't like snakes, but I do like this one!) The orange and blacks are great together! Very spooky!
What a fantastic way to make good use of the dramatic impact of this design! I would love to see such a stunning fashion garment made up, Su!
Design for a 'Slithering snakes' vest - I had fun lining up the snake heads on the centre front - and Sue Ellen suggested simulated fang closures which could be fun!

Looks fantastic Su! Makes me think of that beloved desert in the centre of our lovely country. I DO love black and orange together (and they don't generally make me think of Halloween, perhaps because it's not such a big thing here) - the orange is a perfect background for your fabulously sinuous snakes.
Thanks Lynette, Isabella and Sue Ellen - more great ideas! Your comments really tickled me - esp. the thought that wearing this fabric would be way less trouble than belly dancing with a real snake...
I, myself was thinking silk palazzo pants ... or a silk belly-dancing veil ... less trouble than having to dance with a real snake.
Fantastic! Love the texture in the background. I think this would be a fun alternative to pin-striping for dress pants.
I love this one...one of the few black and orange prints I've seen that doesn't remind one of Halloween... it would make a great skirt or vest.
Thank you so much everyone for your comments! It was wonderful to wake up to them this morning. Excellent feedback from the collective appreciation society here: I also like this in yardage where it sets up some secondary patterns, and I love the idea of it in a vest that just peeks out from more "staid" business clothing - I've been wrestling with vest patterns as I think vests could be an good use of a lot of Spoonflower designs (that might be overwhelming in larger pieces of clothing) so this is VERY motivating!
So great!!! Wonderful that the snakes make such a graphic design!
This is wonderful design. I love the repeat in yardage- it would make a stunning top or skirt!
Slithering beauty with a touch of menace! The sinuous, rippling pattern of your reptilian design has captured the feeling of awe and admiration that is evoked by the sight of these creatures!
I love this! (even in Black and Orange ... NOT one of my favorite colorways....) The wavy patterns of the bodies, linked by the triangular viper heads is so attractive and iconic, I could see this on a cave wall or a rock face or on aboriginal pottery. I think you've tapped into something quite elemental and elegant, another classic. Good luck in the contest!
Su, This is a lyrical pattern that I can imagine being made into a vest, worn just peeking out of a nice suit jacket.
Wow, Su! Gorgeous design! Good luck!
