When I look at the tiny ovals and circles and flowery half sunbursts, macrame twisted threads, and teardrop paisley petals, I think of my father's silk neckties. Except these designs are four times the size of the designs of my father's similar tie fabrics in the 1960's.
Of course the size of all designs on Spoonflower is adjustable. One can buy this with two inch ovals or half inch ovals if you request a different size from me (or any other designer on this site). If I put it up in necktie size, nobody could see the detail on a monitor, to like or dislike it. But this is a slice of Mad Men minus the affairs and back stabbing.
