An homage to Edvard Munch and spiders - which don't really make me scream but do make me very nervous - just in time for Halloween.

Thank you Terese and Kelly! Somehow I missed your comments! I was definitely going for creepy not cute...</p>
Posted almost 4 years ago.
haha - very creepy and good.
Robyn such a great version of the 'scream'. I scream at spiders anyway. Not my favourite creepy crawly. The cushions look great made up. Fantastic!...T
Thank you Tara, Nekineko, Isabella and Diane! Haha, not often I'd take 'horrible' as a compliment ;-P but this IS meant to be creepy, so...
Robyn! I just saw this! Creepy indeed. And so clever - I don't know how you imagine this stuff, but it's awesome! I love your style!
This is such a scream. Very cleverly done!
Horrible! Printed beautifully - so crisp and true to screen colours.
It's so creepy! I love it!
Cushions for the non-arachnophobic to cuddle up with while trick-or-treaters roam the neighbourhood...

Spiders make me scream! (after Edvard Munch) :
Thanks Victoria! I started out with skulls but this seemed much quirkier!
Great job, Robyn!! Fantastic idea!!
Thank you Lori, Susan, Shelley, Julie and Sannie! Your comments are very much appreciated. :-D
Seems like earlier in the day this was making people laugh, now it's making people squirm... mmm, wonder what that means?
This such a clever design! Well done!
You did a fantastic job with the repeat, and I like the face. Those legs are sooooooo creepy!
Oooo...the legs make me squirm!! Great job Robyn
The bottom layer reminds me of childhood candied corn, which is enough to make me scream, and the spiders are the icing on the...candied corn! Well done.
If Munch were alive he might just scream with delight! The repeats are perfect, and look super in yardage. Love those spidery legs that are grasping the faces! Creepy, good scream ~ good luck in the contest Boo!
Thank you Jana, Su and Tina. I'm so glad people are getting a laugh out of my arachnophobia! Someone needs to... (apart from my partner that is...!)
So funny and clever! Wonderful!
Oh so wonderful! This makes me scream with laughter (and I can share your frustrations over getting the repeat to work too...)
Funny, I love it! That painting always gave me the creeps when we studied Munch in art history. Your design certainly puts a new spin on it for me. Well done!!!
Thank you Rhonda, Linda & Amy! It was just too crazy an idea not to see through, despite the frustrations of making it work. It was worth it to know it made someone laugh!!
This is hilarious!!! I think you've got a winner here.......so clever how you thought of this design. I can only imagine putting this in a repeat, I'm still just trying to learn to do a basic repeat, LOL! Nice work....love!
Love it! And a good belly laugh, too.
Now I know what caused the famous Munch screamer to let loose! The design is very clever and will certainly resonate with all of those folk who suffer from arachnophobia!
