Oh, wow. prettyinpink, that dress looks awesome! I'm glad my fabric worked so well for you. Thanks so much for posting the pics.

The dress looks fabulous. Its so good to see exciting dressmaking using fabulous SF fabrics. One lucky sister has a 100% unique original.
A second photo.
(The light in my office is bad. The fabric is truer in the first photo.)

Absolutely LOVE this design. These two photos show a dress I made in knit, and are taken after the dress was put through the washing machine (to give you an idea of how the colour holds.) I would normally hand wash, but it's a gift for my sister and I know she'll never wash it by hand; wanted to make sure it would hold up. :)
It's such a fantastic design. Really great job.
December 2009; detail of quilt I created using 8" x 8" test swatches. The yellow stitching lines happened because I sewed the polar fleece batting on too tight at first (this is only the second quilt I've ever made). Rather than pull all the machine-sewed quilting stitches out, I slashed the polar fleece and put more polar fleece inserts into the gaps. I decided I kind of liked the look of the hand-sewn yellow stitches, so I kept them.
