Collection: Beyond the Paisley Path
This artist creates a Cuisinart of abstract mirror designs borrowing bits from Victorian, Edwardian, paisley, and art nouveau. She also draws orphan cars, and adapts a few very old ads. Most of her work is hand drawn with twists, vines & Celtic knots.

The 1920's were in full swing and nobody knew that the coming stock market crash would destroy lives for a decade, so there was plenty of time to dance. And you might have had a fabric with this kind of precise art deco-tinged feeling, if you had been dancing the Charleston with your beau on a hot 1928 night.
Colors are late summer burgundy, goldenrod, and purple. Elements within this design include petaled circles, curved edge diamonds, plus sign oriented purple crosses, and some kind of stylized trumpet shaped flower. (file k85n2)
