Thanks Su. We were wandering all around the Pompidou Center one day, shooting all sorts of elevator shafts, strange walkways, infrastructure types of things, and if I remember correctly this was some sort of wall cover over electrical boxes.

Makes a great fabric pattern with that dimensional sort of pleated look... Space lace because this was an image of a space heater??? (in its former life?)
Hey Sue Ellen, thanks for your nice comments. I was just playing around with that title, but upon reflection they could be on my grandmother's space-time continuum. Everything flows, nothing stands still.
Apparently, my comment about Space Lace fell off into cyberspace when I clicked on Post. So, I will try again: I love this "push" on lace curtains! Instead of the "something from the frumpy past" that so many think of them, you've shown them as sleek and cool and futuristic. I love the look of lace curtains, and I have wanted to knit or crochet them for myself, since ages ago. I have temporized by buying lace curtains on visits to Paris, and by buying French knitting & crochet patterns for them. Someday.... In the meantime, This design on the cotton voile would make lovely window dressing.
