Su, this design/collection is really pretty with lovely detail...really versatile too. xo :o)
Thanks for the nice comment Michelle, much appreciated. I was really pleased at how well it printed on the crepe de chine, and it was interesting to see how much of the printing shows through on the reverse side too.

Fingerprint dots by Su_G :
Printed beautifully on silk crepe de chine!
Thanks for letting me know that the dots worked on CdC Susan - that's a relief! My husband has bought me some of it for Christmas & now I really can't wait! And thanks so much Emma for the design love - this one really is pure pattern & I really appreciate your feedback.
Its design love Su!!!!!!! These are gorgeous most gorgeous : )
I got my dots today, and they are beautiful. The background color is perfect too. Can't wait to dive into it. Thank you!
Thanks Katarina and Susan - I do so hope it prints well on the CdC, am very curious now...
Looks wonderful!!!Love it!!!
good to see photo. Can't wait for my yard to arrive!
Printed nicely on basic combed cotton. The background texture from the chalk original and the different shapes of all the little oil paint dots came out well. Photo shows a slightly smaller scale than the design is currently set for - can be changed. [300 vs 258 ppi]
Thanks for the comment Danae, much appreciated!
Oh my goodness I love this! Will definitely keep this in mind for future projects
Thank you all very much, Phoebe, Susan and Sue Ellen, my husband thought "Aztec" too. It did come out well in the proofing swatch but I was a bit taken aback at the scale so I'm putting it away for a day before I decide... maybe I just need a large and a small.
If we can fingerprint a painter by their brushstrokes, I don't know why we can't fingerprint a designer by their dots. These are very cool dots. When I first saw them in the thumbnail, I thought, Mayan/Aztec stone calendars, or grindstones; very iconic imagery.
Make this one for sale soon - love the subtle color application and colors are so nice against skintones.
