My embroidery design revisits that independent spirit of the 80s when the punk movement would stitch, rip and distress fabrics to create their own fashions. Basically anything went and that's the idea here. You can use any hand embroidery stitches or machine stitching to create your piece of work. You might also like to embellish some details so I've given you 2 collars for giving your punky lady that authentic Vivienne Westwood style. Have some fun with this, you can even splash on some fabric paint, you can use brightly coloured wool for the mohican hair do and don't forget to pin some safety pins on or stitch on zips for good measure! It should make a great wall hanging for any Craft Anarchist out there!
