For the 80s embroidery pattern contest I focused on home decor themes. I researched (and remember :) blue country colors, geese, pitcher and bowl sets and bouquets of dried flowers in baskets. Pattern is reversed so printed side is on the bottom and can be embroidered on the front without lines being seen. Stem stitch or back stitch works well with the line drawings. For the dots I use two-wrap French knots. For leaf shapes I use lazy daisy stitches. Satin stitches for the pink circle flowers along the border.
